We can help with pre-, during, and post-diagnosis or with no formal diagnosis. We are currently seeking more dyslexia assessors and tutors to join our growing team. Alison has over 20 years of teaching and SENCo experience across both junior and senior schools. She is an experienced Maths teacher who is able to advise on interventions to support difficulties in Maths as well as Literacy.
Whether you’re neurodivergent yourself or looking to support your colleagues, make it a priority to find out about Access to Work – a government programme which supports disabled people to take up or remain in work. They may potentially have financial resources to help remove barriers at your workplace. Their diverse perspectives and exceptional abilities, such as attention to  detail, creative problem-solving, and extraordinary memory, are a significant asset. By recognising and appreciating these strengths, we can inspire them to reach their full potential and contribute even more to our collective success. A high percentage of employees choose not to tell their employer about a neurodivergent diagnosis. This could be because they’re not aware they can access accommodations to get them to a more equitable level with their peers, they may have had a previous poor experience, or they may be afraid it will harm their career prospects.



For example, quantifying the cost of neurodivergence in adulthood or the accessibility of community assets for neurodivergent adults. We see children and young people with complex neurodevelopmental presentations, including those where a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder is being considered. We also see children where there are concerns about language disorders, behavioural and motor coordination problems and specific learning difficulties. Our team brings together deep expertise across coaching, leadership, HR, mentoring, and neurodivergent lived experience. Together, we help raise the profile of neurodiversity and support lasting transformation through practical, compassionate, and evidence-informed services. We believe in the value of neurodiversity — not just in the workplace, but across every area of life.
Many challenges arise because the world is designed with neurotypical expectations in mind, not because of deficit. Sometimes diagnostic thresholds are not met, and we will explain why, exploring factors such as masking, burnout, trauma, or overlapping experiences. If full assessment is not the right fit, we may suggest alternative forms of support such as therapy, coaching, or group programmes.

Creative potential and well being can be improved by embracing neurodiversity as a natural Neurodiversity Assessment form of human diversity. The EQ test is often used to explore social-emotional awareness and is helpful for identifying traits linked to autism or other neurodivergent profiles. Understand how you may mask or camouflage autistic traits in social settings. Developed to identify subtle, internalised traits often missed in earlier diagnosis.
The Delivery of Autism Services Code of Practice was published by the Welsh Government in September 2021. This aimed to provide clarity about the legal rights of autistic adults and children and what people should expect from health boards, local authorities and NHS trusts and Regional Partnership Boards. Users face challenges in accessing information and support, often resorting to self-research and feeling unheard by professionals. Parents of neurodiverse children endure significant emotional and financial strains while navigating the system.

These conditions exist on a spectrum, with some people needing little support and others facing more challenges. An assessment which will provide written evidence and recommendations for exam access arrangements. For those at secondary school, sixth form or college, we include specific recommendations for examination adjustments as appropriate for the level of study for the student.

While these tests don’t provide a diagnosis, they offer a quick and simple way to better understand your experiences and whether it might be helpful to seek a professional assessment. Neurodiversity refers to the natural differences in how people think, process information, learn and interact with the world. Conditions such as autism, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, dyspraxia, and others all fall under the neurodivergent umbrella – and it's estimated that around 1 in 7 people in the UK are neurodivergent (source). Together we can help improve the knowledge, awareness and understanding of neurodivergence to make positive and lasting changes to people’s lives. The DSA provides funding for equipment, software, and personal support workers, if appropriate, to help you overcome any specific challenges related to your autism.

If you’re thinking about getting a private or independent assessment, these are typically paid for by the individual and not by the NHS. People can also request to be referred to other providers operating under right to choose via their GP. These providers have been approved by other ICBs and are able to operate nationally. This helps us understand how the child experiences different settings, not simply how they are perceived. To encourage employees to get the support they need, educate the whole company on neurodivergence. Train and engage your managers and HR teams, publish information on reasonable adjustments, and have a policy which ensures your employees feel it’s safe to talk to you.
